CICADA_SKIP_VOICING=true # do not do voicing (e.g. possibly for local dev, or if you are using this as a store of alerts but separate software will read and do the alert)

Finding audio devices📎

if default espeak can not find the sound card but have alsa installed, you can try aplay -L to find them, and then pass config of

CICADA_SPEAKER='espeak -g 15 -p 30 --stdout'
CICADA_SPEAKER_PIPE='aplay -D <name of device>'
# e.g. CICADA_SPEAKER_PIPE=aplay -D sysdefault:CARD=Device'
