# 2025-09-24 21:41 I went on a short walk, not specifically to stargaze. I happened on a new good spot to stargaze close to home. I connected to a star, then walked back home. As I was closing the garage door, I spot something flashy. After closing the door, I look and it is an orb brightly changing colors in the night sky. Like not just a couple colors, most colors: red, orange, white, yellow, green, purple, blue, and in rapid succession and without any pattern that I can discern; purple seeming less often than other colors. Maybe changing colors 4-5 times a second? It seemed to mostly stay motionless in the sky. I got cell phone video recordings of it, including at multiple spots and with points on land for reference. I saw it there for a long time. I think it did move 2 feet as I see it in the sky at arm's length, over the course of 30 minutes. Jenna saw it, too. It didn't seem to respond to my mental requests for it to move, though I'll see in the videos if it seems to clearly move, accounting for not holding the camera steady.
