2025-11-04 22:34

Went out tonight and last night.
Decided last night and this to do CE-5 by the Greer contact app,
instead of just "winging" it.
Tonight, at 2149 hs, saw in an easterly direction 3 orbs.
I was on my way back home and stopped to observe.
One was between white and yellow, brighter than a star.
One was red alternating a bit with white, brighter than a star.
Another was roughly the size and color of a blue star.
They took turns moving, mostly laterally,
closer and further away from each other.
They were lower in the sky than clouds or most stars
visible in out night sky.
The blue one took off first, to the north.
Then the white and yellow one went dark-ish, and took off to the north.
The red and white one stayed a bit longer,
then also took off to the north.
They would go north for a bit, hang there,
and then after a minute or two continue on their way.
No idea how fast they were moving given their altitude and distance.
It was trackable, not like a streak or blur.
Caught some video, but my camera isn't stellar (pun intended).
The ground lights from some buildings appear brighter,
but also serve as a reference point.
I think the blue orb had gone by the time I got my camera on,
and isn't in video.
They were gone by 10 PM.
