It is my longest session yet. I for sure saw some orbs spread out over time. It felt strengthening and peaceful. I've been doing some new types of meditations, and connecting with the orbs has fit in very well with them. I feel like our family will have many very positive things happen for it this year.

That said, I'm leaning towards most of the lights tonight being airplanes, but I'm not sure. In some of the clips, especially earlier ones, there are some lights that move from close to far rather than across the screen. Those are definitely airplanes. There are some that also have very steady movement and even blink at times, but their field of movement is amongst the orbs. I do not normally see planes in that area in the morning, like 3AM - 5AM. I do not know if those are orbs or planes. Maybe its possible if they are taking off from the airport, given their slight upwards trajectory. For the ones moving north towards the airport area, it seems like too many to all be orbs. And in later videos there are some that move in a clearly orb like fashion or "glow" much to bright to be planes, and others mixed in that move like some of the other orbs that move only straight. Further muddying the waters are the clouds and city lights reflecting off them right where the lights sometimes fade out. If its planes, are they getting obscured by the clouds eventually? If orbs, they could be getting obscured or fading out like they do. It was a busy sky, especially earlier on!

When I try to find MSP stats, it looks like there are an average of 477 flights per day. Many of the lights observed tonight did seem "straighter", so maybe I'm in range to see the airplane lights at night, and maybe their are significantly more, say, between 8:30 - 11:00 PM than afterwards?

For January 3, https://www.minneapolis-airport.com/msp-departures suggests 20 departures from midnight to 6 AM, vs 253 departures for 6 AM - noon, 330 for noon to 6 PM, and 364 for 6 PM midnight. Similarly, https://www.minneapolis-airport.com/msp-arrivals suggests 26 arrivals for midnight to 6 AM, 344 for 6 AM to noon, 431 fro noon to 6 PM, and 225 for 6 PM to midnight.

On the other hand, many of the ones heading north seem extremely close to the ground, similar to other times seeing orbs in this spot in the early morning.

Other data I can bring: this q & a seems to indicate that in good visibility conditions you can see an aircraft from the ground at 100km or 62.14 miles away. The post suggests that landing lights are the brightest lights, and that they are brighter if the plane is facing you. None of these were while they were moving north to south. It is possible that some that seem to go up and down, and then right/left are aircraft banking, but they do not seem to get significantly brighter or dimmer when it goes right/left (north to south). From the spot I was at to the airport is 52.4 miles by car, so call it 50 miles as the crow flies. It also should be noted that this was far from ideal visiblity conditions.

I saw a couple of novel things. One, I saw was an orb that was very well lit up and stationary, another orb departing straight from it, and then the first orb disappearing.

A second thing was something I didn't catch originally but did on the replay. As a car passes in front of me, there are two lights that zoom on by from far top right. Its too far in front and to the right to just be perspective of wingtips of an airplane shifting as it moves across screen. And the orbs get closer together, like one is following the other. And they do not appear at exactly the same time, and they don't appear from off frame.

Now that I've confirmed seeing orbs here and in Arizona, where in both places the behavior was nothing at all like airplanes or satellites, I'll also try some other spots with good visibility pointed away from the airport, e.g. facing west and watching north south movement. That should severly limit seeing airplanes, and even more so if I go out from 12AM to 6AM.
